LIFE DRAWING 10 Week Evening Course commencing February 2018
Sukhvinder Saggu will commence tutoring a ten week course in Life Drawing commencing on 6 February 2018.
The course is initially aimed at the beginner to intermediate level and will take place in Studio D on ten consecutive Tuesdays from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm, from 6 February to 10 April 2018. These times are designed to suit people engaged in the workforce, and the start and ending times are designed to be flexible between participants and tutor.
As there are limited places participants are requested to register for the course as soon as possible.
For newcomers to Life Drawing we are prepared to permit the first two nights being taken on an “on trial” basis for a fee of $50 but you are then requested to join ASOC and pay the remaining pro-rata fee of $140 for the remainder of the course.
Please complete the Registration procedure using one of the buttons above .
Cost: Members $190, Non-members $240.
ASOC respects the Code of Conduct for Life Models.
A message from our new Workshop Coordinator – Renee Quiambao:
I love art. I am the happiest when I spend quality time in a gallery or an exhibition. I appreciate the serenity that a gallery exhibit can bring. I am a big fan of contemporary, performance, and conceptual art.
I am also fascinated by the skill, technique, and conceptual reasoning artist employ to create art. I believe in making art accessible to its audience.
I have a Masters of Curating and Cultural Leadership from UNSW (2016) and I recently curated ASOC’s Spring Exhibition (2017).
As the new workshop coordinator I know that I have big shoes to fill. Jenny Millet has done a fabulous job coordinating workshops for our society. I am looking forward to meeting other members of the society and learning more about the rich history of ASOC.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions for a workshop. I am open to ideas. My goal is to run interesting and fun workshops that are of value to members.
Should you have any inquiries or suggestions please do not hesitate to contact me on email@example.com
ASOC/CAW WORKSHOP & EVENT COLLABORATION
ASOC is pleased to announce a series of Special Workshops and other events jointly convened with the Canberra Art Workshop (CAW).
Members of either CAW or ASOC can now register in either organisation’s workshops at the membership price. Above is a combined list of proposed workshops for 2017. Keep an eye on each organisation’s website for details and regular updates of their events.
Registration forms are available from the CAW and ASOC websites. Carefully read and follow the instructions for each hosting organisation. CAW and ASOC independently process their own workshop registrations.
At this stage the collaboration applies to paid workshops, lectures, etc. It does not apply to exhibitions.
