Tim Hardy places drawing at the centre of his practice. Tim believes that it is through drawing that he can explore and experiment most freely. He employs a wide range of media and techniques in doing that, including pastels, inks, acrylics, charcoal, and he loves developing mixed media approaches and is an enthusiastic printmaker. Tim shares his knowledge and passion for art with others through convening a weekly drawing workgroup, tutoring workshops, and leading arts organisations. Tim has exhibited widely, and is the recipient of many art awards.

Vivien is passionate about painting the diversity of Australia’s flora and fauna. She paints in mainly watercolour, but ventures into coloured pencil, graphite, ink and occasionally, oils

Vivien loves to paint the small birds, many of whom are overlooked by people as they go out and about. The same applies to the native wildflowers. Many of these are small gems in the grass. Australia’s flora is so diverse, there is always something new to paint.

The artistic background comes from studying art at school, otherwise Vivien had no formal tuition, except local workshops. Dance, another art from, has featured very positively in Vivien’s past as a ballet teacher for 15years in Port Moresby and Young, NSW. She started painting in Canberra over 10years ago and has progressed from those early days. As a child, she loved the wildflowers in the UK and would draw them.
