Topic: Tim Hardy – Being an Artist-in-Residence in Tasmania’s Cataract Gorge

Tim Hardy has recently returned from Tasmania where he experienced living and creating art within Launceston’s Cataract Gorge.

He will illustrate his talk with photos of that setting and share the work he did there, highlighting the challenges and insights he gained from the experience.  He will also briefly discuss his visit to the homestead of John Glover, “Patterdale”, situated on the Mills Plains, south of Launceston.

Tim will illustrate the major restoration project currently underway, and share his experiences of visiting the exact spots where Glover painted some of his iconic works.
